In a matter of five hours, I nearly unraveled the past 104+ days of emotional and mental recovery.
At the end of it all, he quoted Casablanca, chucking my chin with,
“Here’s looking at you kid.” Although he flubbed the first time since he’s only seen the airplane scene in the movie. As he walked away from me, I couldn’t hold it in anymore, shouting so he could hear me over the noise,
“Rawr!”
He turned and shouted the reply I wanted to hear even louder than the roar of motors and I think I teared up a little. Only a bit though. Because I’m still a badass.
…Just a badass with a raging libido and tendency to fall more times than I can get myself up.
