Day 242 Progress

About a year or so ago, I'd heard of a trend set by some restaurants that essentially banned kids. Of course there were stipulations (that the parents would be asked to leave or escort their child outside of the premises if the child was misbehaving or other throwing a titty-fit) but kids are kids and those fuckers kinda do whatever they want.

So when I saw this lovely article, appropriately titled "The no-kids-allowed momevent is spreading" it stuck out to me. Kids can be unpredictable and even with the strictly disciplined ones you can never really anticipate that they're going to go out into the public and not make you look like the worst guardian ever. On the other side, you might just possibly be the worst guardian ever and probably shouldn't be anywhere near a child's learning space for the next few years.

...the point of this entire entry was to say that I'm glad that rich, single people are able to enjoy going out without having to worry about a toddler throwing a bitch fit at the next table because their mom tried to feed him broccoli.
